The interdisciplinary research programme, in which the CIST and CIST teams (Géographie-cités, LADYSS, RIATE) are associated alongside major institutional partners (UFR Chimie Paris Diderot, Science Po, IPGP, EHSP...), has been accepted by the COMUE Sorbonne Paris Cité as one of the 9 major societal topics selected following the call for expressions of interest launched in spring 2013.
The CIST -mostly through its research in the framework of the ANR Corpus Géomédia project- contributes by:
- An analysis of the media coverage of earthquakes,
- la mise en place d’un baromètre géomédiatique.
